SwimEx Inc, Fall River, Mass, announces in a news release that Sari Cattoni has joined the company’s sales team.

Cattoni obtained a Master of Science degree in kinesthesiology from the University of Toledo. She also has a bachelor’s degree in athletic training from Clarion University/California University of Pennsylvania, where she was a 4-year member of the women’s swim team.

Prior to joining SwimEx, Cattoni was a physician extender at Advanced Orthopaedics in Richmond, Virginia, according to the release. Before that, she worked for Bon Secours Health System as the head athletic trainer at Glen Allen High School in Glen Allen, Virginia, and she was the graduate assistant athletic trainer for the University of Toledo at Maumee Valley Country Day School.

While working as an athletic trainer, she utilized aquatic therapy, per the release. She also saw the benefits of SwimEx firsthand while attending California University, which had a SwimEx700T pool that the athletic trainers used to condition and rehabilitate their athletes.

Cattoni says in the release that this new position at SwimEx is a perfect fit for her. “I’ve been a swimmer my entire life and have seen how aquatic therapy helps patients and athletes return from injury quicker and remain healthy,” she notes.

“I look forward to using my competitive swimming experience and athletic training to educate consumers about the advantages of owning a SwimEx, and the health benefits associated with aquatic fitness and therapy,” she continues.
