SportsMD Media, Inc., has launced SportsMD.com, a sports medicine, health and nutrition website featuring free content and tools developed by doctors and health experts.
The site also includes a full-featured directory of physicians in sports medicine can refer readers to physcians and physical therapists in their region.
The SportsMD.com press release states that it was created "to meet the need for specialized sports care information that serves not only the elite athlete, but weekend athletes, active teens and aging Boomers."
The site will offer injury, prevention and nutrition articles and a video library that are tailored to the athlete, parents of athletes and coaches who may not have personal trainers or medical staff at their disposal.
