The Evidence In Motion (EIM) Institute of Health Professions recently announced the re-launch of its OCS Prep Course. The online course is intended to help physical therapists with the challenges of studying for the Orthopaedic Certified Specialist (OCS) Exam by making certain that each hour spent studying is productive. The course provides better access to resources and additional mock exam questions in preparation for the March 2012 OCS Exam.
In addition to new resources and mock exam questions, the learning platform for the OCS Prep Course includes a 16-week course of study. David Browder, PT, DPT, MS, OCS, created the EIM OCS Prep Course expounds upon this “The OCS Prep Course also incorporates a variety of learning tactics to appeal to multiple learning styles. This includes a pre-test, recorded lectures, links to pertinent web information, and interactive quizzes that provide feedback for both correct and incorrect answers. At the end of the course participants take a 100 question post-test that is designed to mirror the actual OCS Exam in content type and question style.” He says.
