The Permobil Foundation, the philanthropic arm of Permobil, is hosting its annual charity open golf tournament September 20 at Hermitage Golf Course in Old Hickory, Tenn.
The sold-out event raises money to help people with disabilities live a life without limitations through nonprofit partnerships and assisting with insurance denials for durable medical equipment.
Since its inception this past March, The Permobil Foundation has supported 194 nonprofit organizations and helped 268 individuals receive a chair accessory. Funds raised at the golf tournament will assist the Foundation in their efforts to provide support and services to more individuals with disabilities, according to The Permobil Foundation in a media release.
“Working for Permobil you see the passion that goes into building each of our incredible products that fit the customer’s needs. During the past year I have been able to hear and see so many stories on how we have impacted lives and brought mobility, hope and independence to others. This is why our hashtag, ‘#PermobilCares,’ is so fitting,” says Ashley Davis, executive director of The Permobil Foundation, in the release.
