AccentCare announces an expansion of its existing home health care joint venture with southern Oregon-based health system Asante.

Under the previous agreement, which was in place for the last 8 years, AccentCare and Asante operated a joint venture home health company.

The newly expanded relationship, via an agreement signed on August 1, folds in Asante’s Ashland Home Health and creates a preferred provider partnership with AccentCare that spans all of Asante’s service area.

“We are excited about our expanded relationship with Asante,” says Steve Rodgers, CEO of Dallas-based AccentCare, in a media release. “Asante has earned widespread recognition for patient care and shares our commitment to quality, compassionate healthcare in the home.”

Scott Kelly, Asante’s executive vice president, shares in the release that, “Our growing partnership with AccentCare will offer our patients improved access to a broader range of home health services, including specialty programs and tele-monitoring. The expanded array of services will provide continuity as our patients transition from the hospital to other modes of treatment.”
