Craig Hospital, a non-profit hospital located in Englewood, Colo, has been ranked a top ten rehabilitation hospital in the United States for the 25th consecutive year by US News and World Report. According to a Craig Hospital news release, Craig has ranked in the top ten every year since the rankings began in 1990. Overall, Craig Hospital was ranked 7th in the US for rehabilitation, 3rd overall in Colorado, and 3rdoverall in Denver. Rehabilitation physicians from all over the nation participated in a survey, which resulted in the rankings.

Mike Fordyce, president and CEO of Craig Hospital, states, “This is truly a remarkable accomplishment for an independent non-university hospital, that specializes in two diagnose. Craig Hospital is proud to be ranked a top ten rehabilitation hospital for the 25th year.”

Fordyce adds, “I am proud of the thousands of Craig graduates who have made successes in their lives following catastrophic injury. I am also proud to be part of the dedicated and talented staff who help our patients achieve such extraordinary outcomes.” Fordyce extends his congratulations to the other Colorado hospitals ranked in the 2014 survey, as indicated on the Craig Hospital news release.

Craig Hospital is a specialty hospital dedicated to the rehabilitation and research for people who have sustained spinal cord injuries (SCI) and traumatic brain injuries (TBI). The Craig Hospital news release notes that as a leader in the field of rehabilitation and research for more than five decades, Craig is federally-designated as a Model Systems Center for SCI and TBI, and has twice consecutively achieved the Magnet Recognition Award in 2005-2010 and 2010-2015.
