Occupational therapist ranks as No 4 among the 10 best jobs of 2018 as part of the 2018 Jobs Rated Report, the 30th edition of the annual jobs analysis report released recently by CareerCast.
According to the report, the profession has a median salary of $81,910 and a projected growth outlook (to 2026) of 24%.
In the report, CareerCast examines not only the top jobs but also the up-and-coming professions that have been added in recent years and the jobs that have become outdated, notes a news release from CareerCast.
A wide range of criteria, such as income, outlook, environmental factors, stress, and physical demands, is utilized to rank 220 US jobs annually. Each year the professions included in the report are evaluated for relevance in today’s workforce.
