National Seating & Mobility (NSM), headquartered in Franklin, Tenn, expands its presence in the Northeast with the acquisition of home accessibility equipment provider Living Free Home.

The acquisition adds branches in Madison, New Jersey, and Boston, allowing NSM to serve clients throughout New Jersey, New York City, and the state of Massachusetts.

“NSM is proud to expand services to individuals with disabilities and health challenges throughout the Northeast,” says Bill Mixon, NSM CEO, in a media release. “We look forward to fostering relationships with clinicians in the area and furthering the availability of mobility solutions nationwide.”

Opened in 2003, Living Free Home specializes in providing stairlifts, vertical platform lifts, ramps, auto lifts, ceiling track lifts, incline lifts, and bathroom modifications. A primary focus of the company was serving veterans through multiple VA facilities.

Living Free Home owners, Tom Krieck and Rich Kantor, will transition to the NSM team, the release continues.
