To celebrate the grand opening of Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospitals new facility, they will be hosting a health fair and open house September 17, 2006, from noon until 4 pm, on the Marianjoy campus, 26W171 Roosevelt Rd, Wheaton, Ill.
The free event will include something for everyone: fitted bicycle helmets to the first 500 children in attendance who are 12 and under; free seated massages; exercise demonstrations; backpack safety screening; reiki demonstrations; blood pressure testing; stroke, balance, and fall risk assessments; meditation and relaxation techniques; and safety and wellness information for all ages. In addition, there will be free food, raffles, games with prizes, and much more.

Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital is a 120-bed teaching hospital dedicated to the delivery of physical medicine and rehabilitation. Founded in 1972 by the Wheaton Franciscan Sisters, Marianjoy has a network of inpatient, subacute, and outpatient sites and physician clinics throughout the greater Chicago area. Throughout this network, Marianjoy provides comprehensive inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services, including programs that assist patients with community re-entry, such as driver rehabilitation and return-to-work programs.
