To celebrate the grand opening of Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospitals new facility, they will be hosting a health fair and open house September 17, 2006, from noon until 4 pm, on the Marianjoy campus, 26W171 Roosevelt Rd, Wheaton, Ill.
The free event will include something for everyone: fitted bicycle helmets to the first 500 children in attendance who are 12 and under; free seated massages; exercise demonstrations; backpack safety screening; reiki demonstrations; blood pressure testing; stroke, balance, and fall risk assessments; meditation and relaxation techniques; and safety and wellness information for all ages. In addition, there will be free food, raffles, games with prizes, and much more.

Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital is a 120-bed teaching hospital dedicated to the delivery of physical medicine and rehabilitation. Founded in 1972 by the Wheaton Franciscan Sisters, Marianjoy has a network of inpatient, subacute, and outpatient sites and physician clinics throughout the greater Chicago area.
