Practitioners at the National Scoliosis Center announce that they have opened a new facility in Fairfax, Va, focusing on the nonoperative treatment of scoliosis.

A media release from the facility notes that it is a one-stop practice where patients can receive various components of scoliosis treatment under one roof, such as Rigo-Chêneau braces, Schroth physical therapy, and ultra-low-dose radiation EOS imaging technology.

The Center—headed by its president, Luke Stikeleather, CO, and colleague Downey Hinrichs, MSPT, CLCP—focuses on the nonoperative care of scoliosis patients and offers a holistic and “boutique” approach to scoliosis care, the release notes.

Also, according to the release, although the Center treats local patients throughout Northern Virginia, Maryland, and Washington, DC, it also has an infrastructure capable of treating out-of-town patients.
