Now available exclusively from OPTP, Minneapolis, are two new Franklin Method fascia massage ball sets—blue for medium density, and purple for firm density.
The massage balls can be used to perform Franklin Method exercises as well as general massage therapy, according to OPTP.
The 2-inch-diameter, non-inflatable balls can be used to help massage tight fascia and relieve tension in tight areas of the body; help lessen and prevent pain associated with plantar fasciitis; and help provide targeted relief of trigger points and soothe sore muscles in the forearms, neck, upper back, or shoulders.
Small (1 ounce weight) and portable, they can fit in a gym bag or inside luggage for use on the go. They are latex and phthalate free, and are sold as a pair.
