Altimate Medical Inc releases Justify It, a web-based tool that walks clinicians through all the steps necessary to compile a letter of medical necessity for EasyStand products.
A product configurator contains prompts that guide the therapist to justify each component. The data gathered via this process is then carried over into the letter-building form, which compiles all the information into a ready-to-submit letter of medical necessity (LMN).
The LMN is generated without limiting clinical judgment or writing the letter. Instead, the tool enables the clinician to input the letter’s narrative portions.
Photos, standing logs, or range of motion charts can be input via a table or smartphone. In addition, clinicians can dictate information via their devices’ microphones.
