Gaylord Specialty Healthcare, a nonprofit rehabilitation-focused healthcare system headquartered in Wallingford, Connecticut, announces it has been awarded its 12th consecutive 3-Year-Term of Accreditation from CARF International for its inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation programs.

Gaylord is also the only entity in Connecticut – and is reportedly among just a few worldwide – to earn additional CARF accreditations for inpatient and outpatient spinal cord, stroke and brain injury specialty programs, it notes.

“Your organization should take pride in achieving this high level of accreditation. This achievement is an indication of your organization’s dedication and commitment to improving the quality of the lives of the persons served.”

— Brian Boon, President and CEO of CARF International, in a letter to Gaylord Specialty Healthcare
