Tamara Kittelson-Aldred, MS, OTR/L, ATP/SMS, and Lee Ann Hoffman, OT, MSc, ATP, will present a workshop that teaches the essentials of 24-hour posture care during the upcoming RESNA 2019 Annual Conference in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Titled “Night and Day Posture Care Management: A Toolkit to Get Started,” the workshop will take place on Wednesday, June 26, from 4 pm to 5:30 pm.
This workshop is ideal for occupational therapists, physical therapists, and other clinical professionals who want to learn about using 24-hour posture care management with their clients.
Postural care management could be the “missing link” when working with individuals who have postural alignment problems in sitting and lying, according to a media release from Posture 24/7.
“Excellent course! Most useful session I attended. Already putting it into practice,” notes a former workshop attendee, in the release.
Posture 24/7 focuses on raising awareness, providing consultations and training to promote use of 24-hour posture care management as a standard of care for people with limited movement related to impairments, injury, or age.

I wish you success in giving this workshop. A way of working that is totally underestimated and which deserves much more attention!
