On August 4, Penn Therapy & Fitness University City opened its doors as the first tenant of a new 13-story Penn Medicine building. The facility is an outpatient therapy clinic of Good Shepherd Penn Partners and now offers a wide range of specialized therapy services to the Philadelphia region, in an effort to better serve the market’s evolving healthcare needs.
Penn Therapy & Fitness University City is reportedly one of the largest outpatient therapy sites affiliated with an academic medical center in the nation, providing advanced technology and specialty equipment, such as a dedicated aquatic therapy pool featuring variable depths and an 
underwater treadmill. The clinic also offers specialized physical, occupational, and speech therapy.
Available therapies include hand therapy, orthopedic and sports rehabilitation, neurologic therapy, Women’s health, cancer rehabilitation, and speech/language pathology.
