Motion Composites, a manufacturer of lightweight carbon wheelchairs, announces the acquisition of Toronto-based Dynamic Health Care Solutions (DHCS), manufacturer of the nxt Seating Series and the exclusive distributor of Raz Design Inc and Vicair products in Canada.
The nxt Seating Series complements Motion Composites’ high-end rigid and folding wheelchair models, according to Quebec-based Motion Composites in a media release. The company plans to progressively integrate Dynamic’s seating technology into its portfolio to offer ride quality, aesthetics, and seating comfort all in one package, it adds.
‘’This is an important milestone for Motion Composites and is fully in line with the company’s mission to improve the lives of our end-users. We’ve been business partners with Dynamic for several years, and this new level of cooperation is a natural progression of our business relationship,” says Eric Simoneau, CEO at Motion Composites.
The nxt Seating Series is made up of a broad range of modular backrests, coupled with a range of contoured cushions adapted to meet the needs of different client groups. Together, they provide effective postural support while protecting skin, for a combination that maximizes mobility, activity and lifestyle, the release continues.
Both companies’ products will be showcased together at the upcoming Rehacare trade show in Düsseldorf, Germany, September 18-21, 2019.
