Abilities Expo, reportedly the nation’s largest event for the disability community, will take place December 4-6 at the Dulles Expo Center in Washington, DC.

Dubbed Abilities Expo DC Metro, the event is the latest addition to the six other Abilities Expos produced across the country and will feature exhibits, workshops, events, celebrities, and activities to appeal to people of all ages with the full spectrum of disabilities—including physical, learning, developmental, and sensory, according to a media release from Abilities Expo.

“The Expo provides the community of people with disabilities access to life-enhancing products, education, resources and fun,” says David Korse, president and CEO of Abilities Expo, in the release.

“Most of all, it’s a celebration of what you can do, not what you can’t,” he adds.

The event will also feature the latest products and services; activities such as wheelchair dancing, adaptive gaming, and adaptive fitness; and assistance animal demonstrations.

Complimentary loaner scooters and free wheelchair repair will also be available during show hours, per the release.
