A partnership between Orthocare Innovations, Mountlake Terrace, Wash, and Ottobock, Austin, Tex, has resulted in a “smart” prosthetic designed to be adjustable using a mobile app.
The Triton Smart Ankle was developed using motion capture technology from Vicon to precisely capture foot movement, according to a release from the company.
Via the mobile app, wearers can adjust the prosthetic’s height and angle for better mobility and stability, per the release.
