A line of wheelchair-accessible trucks and full-size SUVs is now available from Freedom Motors USA, a manufacturer of wheelchair-accessible vehicles based in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Customization options include 4WD or 2WD and driver or passenger side entry conversions. In addition, every truck and SUV comes equipped with the company’s state-of-the-art hydraulic lift system.

“We’ve not only given this new truck and SUV line improved rugged durability, we’ve also shortened the time it takes to enter or exit the vehicle by reducing the time to deploy the lift system to less than 15 seconds – all in less space needed when compared to most accessible minivans!” says Freedom Motors USA President Sieto van Dillen, in a media release.

The truck features room for up to five passengers, and the SUV can fit seven passengers. In addition, the line features a 750-lb lift capacity, the option to install a towing package, as well as the industrial-grade hydraulic system, which is specially designed to withstand extreme temperatures and is constructed with an industrial-grade stainless steel floor and side skirt.

Orders are now being accepted for the wheelchair-accessible Chevrolet Silverado, Chevrolet Suburban, Cadillac Escalade, and GMC Sierra.
