In a company news release, Sunrise Medical, Fresno, Calif, recently spotlighted the newest enhancements to its Quickie Q7 and Zippie Zone manual wheelchairs. Enhancements to both products include new frame colors ranging from Matte Black, Matte Green, Candy Purple, and Bead Blast.
The company notes that the Quickie Q7’s enhancements include a new WC19 Transit-approved transit option, approved at a full weight capacity of 265 pounds. The product also offers increased options for center-of-gravity settings to customize the chair for both experienced and newer users.
The Zippie Zone offers pediatric users a new t-post armrest, designed to be easily removable for transfers, and 4-inch stabilizer bar extensions to allow solid backrests to be mounted to the Zone without parts interference. An additional enhancement to the Zone is the ability for users to order independent frame lengths and sling depths.
