Sunrise Medical, Fresno, Calif, has launched an early-intervention device designed to meet the seating and positioning needs of children. To accomplish this, the company reports that Zippie and Baby Jogger have partnered to create the Zippie Voyage. The Voyage reportedly features Baby Jogger’s Quick-Fold technology.
The product also features puncture-resistant rear wheels and swivel front wheels with suspension intended to keep the child calm and comfortable in a wide range of environments. Quick access wheel locks, telescoping push handles, and a canopy with mesh window are also among the product’s features.
Sunrise Medical notes that the Voyage’s reversible seat can be positioned to face the caregiver. The product also offers users a standard 45 degrees of rearward tilt and optional 45 degrees of incline. The Voyage is WC-19 Transit approved for up to 60 pounds, according to a company news release.
