WB Mick, previously VP of business development at Numotion, will become the new general manager of the TiLite Business Unit Manual, effective June 12, according to an announcement from Permobil.

Larry Jackson, president of Permobil’s Business Region Americas, will remain directly involved as president of the Business Unit.

“I have complete confidence that Mick is the right person to be our general manager of Business Unit Manual,” Jackson says, in a media release from the Lebanon, Tenn-based company. “His 34 years of industry experience have been marked by outstanding performance. Mick has demonstrated remarkable talent and sound judgment in everything he does.”

“I always respected Larry’s vision and leadership, and I am excited to work for him at the world’s most innovative manual wheelchair manufacturer,” Mick states in the release. “Larry will continue to be a guiding force for me and Business Unit Manual. I am thrilled to be returning to Permobil.”

During his tenure as director of business development for Numotion, Mick was responsible for the company’s Northwest business growth, lobbying/legislative concerns, and consumer outreach. He also played a key role in the continued development of strategic sales initiatives and product development, ensuring Numotion’s relevance in response to an increasingly demanding marketplace. Prior to that, he was an area manager over sales and operations.
