RehaMed International, Homestead, Fla, which manufactures adaptive products for people with disabilities, has named Tom Saldarelli as its new chief operating officer.
Saldarelli will oversee the development pipeline for new products and manage key alliances with synergistic businesses in the marketplace, underscoring the company’s focus on growth and product placement in all market segments.
“Tom’s knowledge of the aquatics industry and commitment to creating thoughtful and affordable products, make him a natural fit within our company,” said John Caden, the company’s president and founder.
Saldarelli, who hails from Paragon Aquatics, is a veteran of the aquatics industry with more than 30 years of experience, having worked as a business executive in market and product development, engineering, sales/marketing, policies and administration, finance, operations, new-business development, mergers and acquisitions, and customer relations.
He was named as one of the top 100 aquatic leaders in Who’s Who In Aquatic Leadership in the United States, and is listed as one of the 25 most influential aquatics professionals. Saldarelli serves as chair on APSP’s Commercial Segment Council, is a member of the editorial advisory board of Aquatics International and the technical board of Colorado Time Systems.
