Mark Wels, president of MK Battery, Anaheim, Calif, recently announced that the company has appointed Dennis Sharpe as global director, HME Business, in the its home medical equipment (HME) business segment, and added Bret Tracy as associate director, HME Business.
Wels notes in a recent MK Battery news release that Sharpe’s more than 2 decades of experience in the HME/Mobility arena and long-standing business relationships support “ascension to this new management level.” The release also notes that Sharpe will work in tandem with the sales team to continue to manage and support the company’s HME initiatives, domestically and internationally. Sharpe will reportedly continue to serve on global wheelchair standards committees and represent the company in legislative affairs.
Tracy brings to company a range of experience in the HME industry, including a position as a regional sales manager for a major mobility products manufacturer, the release reports. The company adds that Tracy’s industry contacts and in-depth knowledge of the mobility landscape and its challenges add to his qualifications and his ability to assist Sharpe and managing MK Battery’s core HME business segment.
