Craig Hospital, headquartered in Englewood, Colo, has been ranked #2 in the Large Employer category of the second annual Denver Post “Top Work Place” survey, while also receiving an additional Special Award for “Training,” announces a recent news release. The release notes that the Denver Post rankings were based upon employee surveys, with companies being measured with regard to leadership, appreciation of workers, direction, values and ethics, competence of management, encouragement of ideas, and compensation and benefits.
The rankings were reportedly announced on April 16 at the Kevin Taylor’s at the Opera House/Denver Center for the Performing Arts in Denver. Kenny Hosack, Amy Goldstein, Julie Wolff, and Coleen Knoll—Craig staff—accepted the award.
Hosack emphasizes that the facility is proud of the culture of healing it has established and “of the patients and families with catastrophic injuries we are privileged to serve.”
“Everyone at Craig understands the patients are why we are here—our work is about helping others, and is the most meaningful thing,” Mike Fordyce, president, CEO, Craig Hospital, adds.
The hospital has received a range of state and national awards recently, including its ranking for the 23rd consecutive year as a Top Ten Rehabilitation Hospital in the US by US News and World Report, the Employee Safety Award by the Colorado Division of Workers’ Compensation, and the ANA’s NDNQI award as the top rehab hospital in the US for quality patient care.
