Anatomical Chart Company, Philadelphia, has released Anatomical Visual Guide to Sports Injuries, a new patient teaching resource to help sports medicine practitioners better explain injury concepts to their clients.

The guide offers head-to-toe views of anatomy layers with meticulous illustrations of the most common sports injuries seen in adults and children, says a statement released by the company.

More than 50 reproducible patient handouts are provided on a bonus CD-ROM. Each handout shows a clear, anatomically correct image along with an illustration of the injury and an explanation of common causes and treatment options. Each handout includes space for practitioners to add notes, instructions, and contact information.

The company provides anatomical wall charts and related products for the human health markets.
