CATZ Physical Therapy and Sports Performance Center, Pasadena, Calif, is hosting an event to showcase the CATZ Human Performance Lab and celebrate the back-to-back championships of the Los Angeles Galaxy. The “Back2Back” event will allow attendees to see how the lab can benefit patients and athletes, and demonstrations will be held of a biomechanical analysis and performance testing for young athletes.
For physical therapy and rehabilitation professionals, several clinical and research implications will be displayed and performed at the event. Sports performance testing for power and injury risk screening will be topics of interest. In addition, information regarding injury risk screening and various physical therapy assessment tools, including baseline measurements, progress, and return to play, will be presented.
The “Back2Back” event will be held on Saturday, February 16, from 4:30 pm to 6:30 pm at CATZ Physical Therapy and Sports Performance Center in Pasadena (www.catzpasadena.com).
Attendees will see MSL Cup and Olympic athletes as well as past and present players with the Los Angeles Galaxy. Presently scheduled to attend are Olympic athletes Greg Nixon and MacKenzie Hill.
