Thanks to a recent agreement reached with the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation and HDS MEDALLION, Bolton, Conn, every purchase of HDS MEDALLION’s Distinctive CarryAll Bags for mobility devices will automatically generate a $7 donation to the foundation. A HDS MEDALLION news release notes that five specific bags from the collection are designated as Reeve Foundation donation bags. These bags include the Poppy Punch Caribbean Blue, Espresso Flower Shower, and Pretty Paisley Bright Blue.

HDS MEDALLION adds that it is creating two new bags for wheelchairs and thick-armed power chairs that will be included in the donation program. Customers who wish to purchase the designated donation bags on the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation’s new online store will reportedly be re-directed to the HDS MEDALLION site for final purchase.

Katie Spiegel, Reeve Foundation director of corporate and foundation relations, voices the organization’s excitement in partnering with HDS MEDALLION. “HDS MEDALLION carryall bags allow women who use mobility devices to remain fashionable, which is just as important to women in the paralysis community as it is to any woman,” Spiegel says.

Carol Rady, vice president and co-founder of HDS MEDALLION, adds that the company is pleased to support the foundation and its research for spinal cord injuries. “We look forward to helping with their efforts and are dedicated to assisting women who use mobility devices like walkers, scooters, wheelchairs, and power chairs to remain stylish,” Rady says.
