According to a recent news release, a free presentation designed to educate family and friends of traumatic brain injury (TBI), stroke, and other acquired brain injury survivors will be hosted by Together in Brain Injury Support July 23. Together in Brain Injury Support collaborative project of Jodi House, headquartered in Santa Barbara, Calif, and Coast Caregiver Resource, also located in Santa Barbara.

The release reports that “Coping with Brain Injury Changes: For Family and Friends of Survivors” event will be held at Jodi House and presented by Mary Sheridan, MA, MFT, director, Coast Caregiver Resource Center. Attendees will learn vital information about adapting communication techniques and expectations when a loved one has sustained a brain injury.
