Push to Walk’s “Push-Ups for Push to Walk” campaign is continuing through December 1, known as Giving Tuesday.
During the campaign, the Riverdale, NJ-based Push to Walk’s staff, clients, and supporters perform push-ups as a means of raising awareness to donate to Push to Walk. Videos and photos are then posted on social media with the hashtag #PushUpsForPushtoWalk, according to a media release from Push to Walk.
Supporters are encouraged to send or tag Push to Walk in videos/photos of them participating in the campaign, per the release.
“The donations we receive through our year-end fund-raising play a large role in allowing us to keep our doors open and to continue to help the spinal cord injury and paralysis community,” explains Cynthia Templeton, president of Push to Walk, in the release.

I know a program down in South Florida that my husband attended last year with his spinal cord injury. It is called the Center for Neuro Recovery. I cannot tell you how much of an amazing place it is to watch my husband after it traumatic spinal cord injury be able to regain strength, function and control. It’s centers like these around the United States that make all the difference in the world when one suffers a neurological injury. I wish everyone the best and I’m so happy to see these companies flourish.
