The International Association of Rehabilitation Professionals (IARP) is holding its annual conference, October 11-14, at the Hyatt Regency St Louis at the Arch.

During the conference, experts in the areas of rehabilitation, disability management, case management, forensics, life care planning, social security, and vocational rehabilitation transition services will give presentations.

In addition, attendees will have numerous opportunities to network with rehabilitation and medical professionals from across the nation.

Pre-conference presentations will include: the 23rd Annual International Symposium of Life Care Planning; Social Security – Unusual Hypotheticals for Social Security Vocational Experts; Vocational Rehabilitation Transition Services; Advancing Your Practice with Technology: An Exploration of Resources for Professionals; and Getting Published, Making the Process Clearer and Less Mystical.

Keynote speakers will be Linda Schultz, PhD, CRRN, and JR Martinez.

Martinez will host an event titled “Facing Adversity with Optimism and Resilience.” Schulz will discuss “Facilitating Movement in the Rehabilitation of Individuals with Spinal Cord Injury.”
