The Paralyzed Veterans of America 2016 Summit + EXPO takes place August 30 to September 1 at the Renaissance Orlando at Seaworld Hotel in Orlando, Fla.
The event for professionals working with patients with spinal cord injury and disease (SCI/D), multiple sclerosis (MS), and amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) features more than 75 sessions and 23 E-learning posters, and offers the opportunity to earn up to 23 Continuing Education Units.
Dr David Shulkin, Undersecretary for Health for the Department of Veterans Affairs, will give the keynote address on Wednesday. In addition, the 2016 Advocacy/Clinical Excellence Awards will be presented to recognize clinicians who work with SCI/D, MS, and ALS patients, according to a media release from Paralyzed Veterans of America.
