Representatives from Brightree will demonstrate how interoperability and Brightree solutions combine to support post-acute care patients throughout their care journey at the upcoming HIMSS Annual Conference & Exhibition in Las Vegas.

According to a media release, Brightree will co-host two demonstrations throughout the conference at the HIMSS Interoperability Showcase, Booth #11955, Hall G:

The CommonWell Nationwide Care Transitions (Demo #6)

At the HIMSS Interoperability Showcase, Brightree and other partners will show the care transition journey of a hypothetical patient with a probable pulmonary embolism. Attendees will see how the journey is enabled by Direct Secure Messaging and interoperability services provided by CommonWell Health Alliance, a nonprofit trade association fostering nationwide health data exchange.

Value-based Care in the Post-Acute Setting demo: Improving equipment ordering workflows (Demo #155)

Brightree will also be part of the “Value-Based Care in the Post-Acute Setting” use case demo, where attendees will follow the process of fulfilling a home medical equipment order for a CPAP device. The demonstration will show the order placement workflow, with content being sent electronically and received by the home medical equipment company, and the storage of the order within the Brightree system.

Both demos will both be held during these times:

  • Tuesday, March 6, 9:45 am to 5:45 pm;
  • Wednesday, March 7, 9:45 am to 5:45 pm; and
  • Thursday, March 8, 9:45 am to 3:45 pm

“We look forward to demonstrating to the post-acute and broader healthcare community how interoperability improves treatment and drives success for both patients and medical care providers,” says Nick Knowlton, Brightree vice president of Strategic Initiatives, in the release.
