Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children, also headquartered in Vancouver, will host the event, which will touch on key topic areas that include delivery, product development, research, and outcomes. According to Sunny Hill Health Centre for Children, attendees can expect the format of the symposium to fall into plenary, pre-symposium, instructional, paper, and poster session.
Learning objectives that attendees will have accomplished upon the event’s completion include the ability to identify and compare new and existing positioning and mobility equipment, discuss the emerging research evidence supporting seating and mobility practices, and locate resources for seating and mobility practices. Attendees will also have the opportunity to network with colleagues.
Pre-symposium workshops will be held March 6. Attendees will also be able to view the 28th International Seating Symposium’s exhibit hall, which will be open from March 7 to March 8.
