Physical and occupational therapists with prior clinical vestibular rehabilitation experience are invited to participate in “Vestibular Rehab—Advanced,” offered November 11-12 at Helen Hayes Hospital in West Haverstraw, NY.

Led by Dr Richard Clendaniel, PT, PhD, the 2-day course will cover information such as advanced techniques for treating anterior and horizontal canal benign paroxysmal positional vertigo, central causes of dizziness and the identification and treatment of cervicogenic dizziness, chronic subjective dizziness, migraine, and other unusual vestibular disorders.

Clendaniel is a professor at the Doctor of Physical Therapy program at Duke University and a member of the adjunct faculty in the Doctor of Audiology program at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

In addition to lecturing both nationally and internationally regarding the evaluation and treatment of individuals with dizziness and imbalance, he also maintains an active clinical practice for individuals with vestibular, cervical spine and other disorders.

He is also the co-editor of a major textbook on vestibular rehabilitation and has had papers published in numerous publications.
