An Ottobock-hosted panel featuring United States veterans discussing prosthetic technology is scheduled to take place during the annual South by Southwest (SXSW) festival in Austin, Tex.

The session, “How Wounded Warriors Are Transforming Biotech,” will be held on Friday, March 10, from 11 am to 12 pm at the Convention Center.

The 60-minute panel, which will be live-streamed, will feature Captain Christy Wise, who lost her right leg above the knee, continues to be on active duty, and recently participated in the Invictus Games; Wounded Warrior Project spokesperson Heath Calhoun; and above-the-knee amputee Melissa Stockwell, the first female from the Iraq War to lose a limb in active combat and who recently earned a bronze medal in the Paratriathlon at the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
