As part of Brain Injury Awareness Month, Mediaplanet launches the Brain and Spine Health Campaign in print and online.

The campaign, funded by the Christopher and Dana Reeve Foundation and others, aims to educate readers on brain and spine health, while focusing on the specific programs and products that are providing the best treatments. In addition, it seeks to empower patients and their caregivers by educating the public on ways to prevent injury and improve care, per a media release from Mediaplanet.

The campaign’s print component was distributed within a recent edition of USA TODAY in the New York, Chicago, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, and South Florida markets, with an estimated circulation of 250,000 copies and an estimated readership of 750,000.

The digital component is distributed nationally via an assortment of top news sites and partner outlets, the release continues.

Additional campaign supporters include the Kennedy Krieger Institute, National Brain Tumor Society, ASET – The Neurodiagnostic Society, Doug Heir, North American Spine Society, Caregiver.com, NMEDA, and the American Chronic Pain Association.
