Hanger Inc, based in Austin, Tex, announces in a press release its new microprocessor-controlled prosthetic hand, the i-Limb Quantum.

Per the release and the Hanger Clinic website, the Quantum incorporates Touch Bionic’s i-mo technology and can change grips with a simple arm gesture.

It also features built-in Bluetooth connectivity that allows the prosthesis to sync to a mobile app on a smartphone so that users can make immediate adjustments.

Other features include the ability to boost digital speed up to 30%, as well as up to 30% more power when needed.

According to the website, the prosthesis is available in three sizes to fit even very small hands, making it suitable for women and children.
