Vantage Mobility International (VMI) introduces its new Chrysler Pacifica wheelchair conversion, the Northstar Access 360. The conversion was unveiled recently to the Dealer Council Executive Committee in Chicago.
Among its features, per a media release from VMI, are: a ramp that stows under the floor, creating more room to maneuver the wheelchair; an obstruction-free doorway that allows able-bodied passengers to enter and exit the vehicle without deploying the ramp; and a full 30-inch-wide ramp with 800-pound capacity to accommodate large power chairs.
