Wheelchair-accessible van retailer MobilityWorks adds three new dealership locations in Texas with the acquisition of Fort Worth, Tex-based Advanced Mobility Systems of Texas.

The addition of these locations—in Fort Worth, Mesquite, and Buda—brings MobilityWorks’ total to 64 locations in 22 states.

“We are extremely pleased with becoming part of the MobilityWorks family,” says Guy Tucker, president of Advanced Mobility Systems, in a media release. “I’ve known their leadership team for many years and we share the same views on providing great customer service. For me, that was one of the most important aspects of this transition.”

“We’re very excited to have Advanced Mobility Systems become a part of our organization,” states Bill Koeblitz, president/CEO of Cleveland-based MobilityWorks. “Guy Tucker and his staff have an excellent reputation for serving clients with care and compassion. I know we will continue that tradition with our new Texas locations.

In addition to selling new and used modified vans for wheelchair accessibility, MobilityWorks and Advanced Mobility Systems also provide rental vans and adaptive equipment such as hand controls, turning seats, and scooter lifts. MobilityWorks also manufactures and sells a variety of commercial vehicles to business clients throughout the United States, according to the media release from MobilityWorks.
