Sunrise Medical, Longmont, Colo, and Disaboom Inc, have partnered to become one of the leading sponsors for the National Wheelchair Basketball Association (NWBA) championships scheduled in March in Denver.
For the first time in wheelchair basketball history, the championships for all five divisions will be held in one location. The divisions include Division 1, 2 and 3, and the women’s and junior’s divisions for wheelchair competition. With an estimated 1,000 attendees, it is the largest wheelchair athletic event in the United States.
