Dyaco International and gym80 have signed a global partnership agreement as a strategic move to strengthen both companies’ commercial offerings in the fitness and medical markets, both companies announce.

Headquartered in Taipei, Taiwan, Dyaco International manufactures fitness products for the home, commercial, and medical markets. The company owns Spirit Fitness and Xterra Fitness, and produces and distributes brands such as UFC, SOLE, and Fuel.

gym80 manufactures strength training equipment for rehab, prevention, active ageing, fitness and wellness, sports specific, athletic and professional sports training via its own production facility in Gelsenkirchen, Germany.

Both companies will remain as independent entities in the partnership, which is ideally placed to provide a compelling, comprehensive portfolio of brands and products, according to a media release.

“With Dyaco, we now have the perfect partner that optimally complements our already existing product lines, resources and existing know-how – and vice versa. We firmly believe this new partnership will deliver strong international growth for both partners and brands,” says Simal Yilmaz, CEO of gym80.

“As we build on the strategy and development of the Dyaco Commercial and Medical Division, this strategic alliance with gym80 is an ideal platform for both companies to collaborate and capitalize on the mutual expertise and resources that this partnership brings.

“Together we can provide operators from all commercial and medical market sectors with a strong portfolio of world-class products to meet their needs,” adds Daniel Clayton, president of Dyaco International’s commercial and medical division, in the release.
