Pride Mobility Products Corp, Exeter, Pa, has–for the eighth consecutive year–been named among the best places to work in Pennsylvania.

The nomination process for The Best Places to Work in PA for 2010 awards program is based entirely on employee feedback.

“We appreciate the confidence our employees have once again expressed in Pride’s ability to deliver an exceptional work environment,” said Scott Meuser, the company’s chairman and CEO. “It’s our employees’ continued feedback and belief in our company that drives our continued commitment to the development of benefits and programs that help Pride to earn the distinction of one of the Best Places to Work in PA year after year.”

The awards program aims to identify, recognize, and honor the best places of employment in Pennsylvania. It is a public/private partnership of Team Pennsylvania Foundation, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, and the Central Penn Business Journal. The two-part process to determine the 100 Best Places to Work in PA consists of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems and demographics, and an employee survey to measure the employee experience.

Pride was ranked 29th out of 50 large-size companies, and holds one of the highest rankings for companies operated out of Northeast Pennsylvania. The honor was recently bestowed at the Best Places to Work in PA awards ceremony.

“Earning this award for the eighth consecutive year is continued acknowledgement by our employees that Pride is a rewarding place to work,” said Ann Sadusky, executive vice president, human resources and administration. "This insight has allowed Pride to go well beyond the basics when it comes to employee compensation and benefits," she added, noting incentives such as a monthly birthday luncheon with the CEO, onsite barbecues in the summer, a comprehensive fitness and wellness initiative, and company sponsored events that place an emphasis on employees’ children, such as the children’s holiday party and a summer picnic.
