A holiday party hosted by the Spinal Cord Injury & Amputee Support Group at Helen Hayes Hospital will take place on Wednesday, December 21 at 6 pm.

The catered event for the support group participants and their families will take place in the West Haverstraw, NY hospital’s 2nd floor therapy room.

“This special event is the perfect opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of Spinal Cord Injury & Amputee Support Group members over the past year and look forward to the possibilities of the New Year,” says Matthew Castelluccio, Helen Hayes Hospital’s Adapted Sports Director, Patient Mentor and President of the United Spinal Hudson Valley Chapter, headquartered at the hospital, in a media release.

The support group is open to individuals living with SCI and amputation, as well as their family and friends. It meets on the third Wednesday of every month from 6 to 8 pm, and features group discussion as well as guest presentations.
