Wound healing and amputation prevention centers operator RestorixHealth, White Plains, NY, has acquired Metairie, La-based Wound Care Specialists.
Wound Care Specialists operates more than 80 wound care and hyperbaric centers in critical access hospitals across the United States.
With the addition of Wound Care Specialists, RestorixHealth will now operate a combined total of more than 200 centers in 30 states, according to a media release from Restorix Health.
“With an increased reach and combined, diverse staff, our partners and patients will have the advantage of being part of a stronger nationwide company, well-positioned to meet the needs of those suffering from non-healing wounds,” says RestorixHealth CEO Steve McLaughlin, in the release.
The agreement’s financial terms were not disclosed. Wound Care Specialists will continue to operate under its own business name and maintain its corporate headquarters.
