Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital announces it recently named two new vice presidents to its senior leadership team.
 
Paul Pyrcik is the new vice president and the executive director of the Marianjoy Foundation. Pyrcik is responsible for the planning and implementation of all fundraising efforts for Marianjoy Rehabilitation Hospital, the facility reports, including annual and workplace giving, major and planned giving, special events and special project/capital programs. He is also responsible for the recruitment of members of the Hospital and Foundation Boards and the President’s Advisory Council. He will support key community and government relations efforts.
 
Prior to joining Marianjoy Pyrcik was director of development for the Central DuPage Health Foundation (Central DuPage Hospital) in Winfield, Ill. He previously held positions as director of community investment and director of internal audit for Waste Management, Inc. in Oak Brook, Ill. Pyrcik earned a bachelor’s degree in commerce from DePaul University in Chicago and is involved with his community as board president for Metropolitan Family Services, DuPage (Wheaton, Ill), and is an honorary board member of United Way of the DuPage area.
 
Margaret "Margie" Rumpsa is the new vice president of the Marianjoy Medical Group Physician Practice. Rumpsa has responsibility for the day-to-day operations of the physician practice, focusing on physician recruitment and retention, and physician alignment with organizational strategies of financial viability, patient service, and clinical excellence. Marianjoy reports that Rumpsa’s role includes ensuring appropriate physician staffing levels to meet current and future patient care needs, compliance with regulatory and reimbursement guidelines, and overseeing policies that guide patient care and administrative activities, as well as adhere to safety and accreditation standards.
 
Most recently, Rumpsa was an administrator of 6 divisions, clinics and centers for the Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minn. Prior to Mayo Clinic, she worked for Evanston Northwestern Healthcare as administrative director of the medical group. Rumpsa has a bachelor’s degree in operations management from Roosevelt University in Chicago and an MBA in Healthcare Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management in Chicago.
