Healthcare risk management program specialist CareRise, headquartered in Mandeville, La, announces the acquisition of PatientVote.com as part of its development of The CareRise Index—a rating system for Post-Acute Care providers.
A media release from CareRise explains that the CareRise Index will enable patients in post-acute settings such as skilled nursing or rehabilitation facilities or at-home rehab services to provide real-time evaluations of provider services via CareRise Apps and designated websites.
CareRise Founder and CEO Tim Goux states in the release that the acquisition of PatientVote.com will serve as a key platform to facilitate the gathering of patient reviews for The CareRise Index.
“Too many times we see the deluge of unpointed regulatory requirements getting in the way and preventing staff from having the ability to deliver ‘the best of care,’ much less have the ability to measure it accurately,” Goux explains.
