The Affordable Care Act is generating new initiatives for enrollment and fraud that are creating a ripple affect on rehab providers. Nancy Beckley (pictured at right), MS, MBA, CHC addresses the compliance implications of these initiatives in a new Rehab Management podcast that went live on September 27, 2011, Compliance Update for Rehab Providers and Rehab Clinics.

Beckley is certified in Healthcare Compliance by the Health Compliance Board, has appeared in myriad national publications and is president of Nancy Beckley & Associates, which provides consulting services to rehab professionals. 

In this new podcast, Beckley shares what makes a provider “high risk” in the eyes of CMS and Meidcare, as well as the top compliance initiatives available to out patient therapy providers to protect their practices. Beckley offers guidance for the compliance issues facing a variety of rehab venues, including the specific compliance concerns for comprehensive outpatient rehab facilities (CORFs).
