Podcast: Using Technology to Get a Competitive Edge

Today’s advanced products for physical therapy can help clinics differentiate themselves through technology-based services. Outpatient clinic owner Niki Varveris, MSPT, DPT, explains how she leverages new technology to attract clients, increase referrals, and transition traditional therapy patients into cash-pay clients at her Naples, Fla-based facility, Physiofit. She also shares her approaches for marketing, and discusses how one new technology in particular can reduce wear and tear on therapists’ hands.

This presentation also features Jeff Gephart, Director of Sales and Marketing, Rehabilitation Division, Zimmer MedizinSystems. Jeff discusses the ongoing paradigm shift in insurance reimbursement, and explains the advantage physical therapy clinics will have in the future by acting now to adopt strategies designed to grow cash-pay services.
