Sunrise Medical, based in Fresno, Calif, recently acquired substantially all of the assets of Switch-It Inc, a firm involved in the development/design, manufacturing, and distribution of special drive controls/special input devices and other high-tech product lines predominantly used on high-end complex rehab power wheelchairs, according to a report from Sunrise Medical.
This acquisition is described as one that expands Sunrise Medical’s portfolio within the complex rehab technology industry and further positions the company for significant growth.
